naa daghan speculations, theories behind the pyramid. it's up to you asa ka motu-o.

as what i've learned.. civilization plays an important role. collosal structure are built during the early days of mankind coz they believe that the gods live somewhere in the sky/mountains... they built such gigantic tombs, places of worship in order for their departed loved ones to be near to their god.
they also believed that the gods live on top of the mountains and volcanos. so they built something that resembles them... so early people built the Ziggurat in every city so that the gods and mankind can be closer. it's not a place of worship but the dwelling place of their gods. only their priests can enter and coz of these this made them very powerful---- up to the present most of us give high respect to priests and religious leaders.

so i think egyptians also adopted these ancient practice. they built gigantic tombs for their kings.
