Wily people are the real strategests.

Sakto kaayo ka tolstoi ug atong ma eliminate nang imong gi line-up diha kadako diay ug ma save ang gobyerno kung usa lang ang law making body. They are harping so much about their desire not to tamper the constitution because of their undying "love" for the constitution.

I still prefer 2; Senate and House of representative...

2 heads are better than one...

One checks over the other for abuses and vice versa....

Every Fortune 500 companies have checks and balance.... and a goverment should strive to be a like a business enterprise... no graft, no redtape, no kickbacks....

CONGRESSMEN are clear representative of the people..they represent the people on a district level...kung corrupt man gani ang mga congressmen kana tungod rasad sa mga tawo nibutar sa ilang distrito

while the senators...unsa man ila gi represntahan?? para asa man ilang pork barrel fund?

as for the check and balances..why do you think other countries (like Singapore..etc) are successful with their Parliamentary form of government?..progressive man lagi sila sa ila systema.

i say..change the system now and let the people decide whom they want as representative during the election...kung gusto silag inutil mo represent nila bahala na sila

    that's the true democracy.

Countries where there is parliamentary form of government:

    Thailand - coup de etat
    Fiji - coup de etat
    Lebanon - wars
    Congo - civil war
    Ivory Coast - violence
    Myanmar - no democracy
    Cambodia - no progress
    Laos - still no progress
    Nepal - civil war
    Bangladesh - poor

    Countries with Presidential system
    USA - progressive, superpower
South Korea - progressive, Developed country
    Taiwan - developed country

ingon ang mga gusto ug parliamentary, mag parliamentary ta para ok na ta! Unsa man nang parliamentary magic nga masulbad ang atong problema ora mismo?

    Who are you kidding?

kay didto educated man ilang mga voters.... and also only TAXPAYERS can vote... walay ghost voters didto... walay dagdag bawas....

You mentioned Senators don't represent the people at a district level.......

That is why its HARD to become a senator.... you need to campaign in all districts........

I won't mind if there is just one senator for each region....

as long as there are 2 houses.... 2 heads are better than one.... one can't fool around without the other's cooperation....
