Though we have gone through numbers of UNCONTROLLABLE situations we still showed the spirit of BROTHERHOOD. No one left no one, except for those who have duties and commitments, understandable.
Delays:
- Jeffrey Sy had his rear tire punctured, we had to spend time realizing who was the missing guy kay nikalit lang siya kawagtang, wala kakita nya ang mga sweepers. amo cya gipangita pero wa namo cya nakit-an nya wala mi mga signal sa transcentral. amo nlng cya gihulat sa toledo while having breakfast.
- Renato Borja & his pillion had an accident. His helmet since not perfectly fit on him covered his eyes. Unfortunately while his helmet covered his eyes it is in a winding road. After he step on the brakes, he and his son hit the side railings. Renato's right arm and leg got torn and his son had bruises. Now he is okay after a minor operation last night in South Gen.
- From Santander to Dalaguete, we faced a heavy rain and wind. With the rain and riders with phobia from the recent accident, we had to run an average speed of 30-50kph.
- Ryle Zafra's throttle cable. We had to do a remedy so he can continue driving.
- Carcar's Traffic.
- We stopped in South Gen to get details about Renato who came to S.Gen 1st via an Ambulance.
- Iggy's fuse got damaged.
After these delays, it is sad but at the same time I was happy to see the brotherhood of the aRousers. No one got mad, no tantrums, no complains and no attitude problem to deal with despite of getting home late.
Thanks to everyone who immediately responded and donated P100.00 each for Renato.
So I can still call the 3rd official ride a Success.
I have learned many lessons through this ride, I hope you too.
Gears, a lesson we have to learn the hard way.
Now I am planning to create a Gear Committee. They will check the riders and back riders if everyone is wearing the proper and complete safety gears before the ride.
On the next official ride, anyone who wears incomplete and improper safety gears both rider and pillion will not be allowed to join the ride.
