Default Naga Plant -Circulating Fluidized Bed Combustion

I've read the news today and it is the President himself who led the inauguration of the 200-megawatt power plant owned and operated by Kepco-Salcon Power Corp. (KSPC) in Naga City Monday.

The power generation plant is based on CFBC technology and has been challenged by some of our concerned citizens as a danger to our environment especially affecting the health of the people living in Naga, Cebu. What's really the score on this technology? Anyone?

If you cannot provide any FACTUAL information (backed up by a link), then do NOT POST ANYTHING. I don't care if you say gikan sa TV Interview--you simple cannot echo such a remark here without a source/link. Please follow the rules, they are simple rules.

that title " Coal Ash is more radioactive than nuclear Waste" is somewhat misleading.

makapangutana man pod ta why man ang smoke stack lang ang gamit to filter waste coal -fired plant? and why man need to stored in a barrel underground ang waste sa nuclear power plant?

But its true na mas taas ang exposure sa radiation around coal-fired plant than in nuclear plant. coz sa nuclear plant the waste are "shielded" (strict regulation).

from the article, it says that health risks from radiation in coal-fired plant are low. other by-products produce from coal power, like emmisions of acid rain, pose greater health risks than radiation.

more on occupational hazards man ni sa mga nagtrabaho.

if masunog or moboto ang coal-fired plant ang risk is ang exposure to particulate pollution. while sa nuclear plant disaster, exposure to lethal dose is fairly high.

mas maayo i compare nila how much radiation ma produce/ kilowatt (plant production).
