Let us all not be naive and just say this is "good for the Catholic Church". The timing of this issue is suspicious considering the imminent passing of the RH Bill. Perhaps this is the Church's subtle way of emphasizing the importance of human life at conception, further lessening the significance of family planning. Why the Church resort to this I have no idea.

I appreciate this, in fact i am glad that the Church is open to adopting babies. For me, having been able to witness on the news about fetuses dumped on garbage cans and babies being placed on public places is tragic and knowing that the Church is open for adoption gives the mothers a chance not to commit murder. We should not look this negatively. I know some of you are against the church but for me, were you not thought not to hate the sinner but the sin? The church is not perfect and saying bad things about the church would not make IT perfect either. If you don't like the idea then why not adopt them and make your own adoption center so that you could help lessen crime and abortion? It's funny that some people are so good in making negative comments yet they can't even help others. For me, at least the money that is being raised from our donations will have a good use aside renovations. The effect may be minimal for now but the lives affected will forever be changed. Why? Being able to grow up under religious teachings is way better than being dead and being placed in a trash can. So to all those who think negatively why don't you start teaching people to stop PMS and also give them some job. hehehe

i dont think the problem is in the church adopting it, but why adopt it in the first place? giunsa man nila pagtabang? nitabang sila how? para kuhaan ang mga irrisponsable sila ug responsibilidad? para mafeel nila na okay ra diay masayop, naay always willing mosagop? okay ko ana orphanage, okay sad na idea mangadopt, pero without any discrimination? Tanan as in tanan? Dapat siguro kadto ra adapon mga orphan. mga walay ginikanan jud. for the rest, ang tabang dapat is empower the mother how to be responsible.

street children, beggars. do you think makatabang sa ilaha ang hatagan nimog kwarta? it is just telling them that there's money in the streets and mas maenganyo na noon sila manglimos sa streets exposing them to all the dangers. tabang na?

ika nga nila, do not give them fish, teach them how to fish.
