I applied for a citibank credit card on August-September, 2008 and received a letter of approval together with my PIN but there was no credit card inside. I tried to call and sent some messages to my agent and e-mailed the citibank online but did not receive any answers. I thought that the citibank was cancelled my approved application or the atm credit card will follow next. Until the last week of September, 2008 I had to leave the country as an OFW. Now, this January, 2010 I received news from my officemate to my previous employer that I had a letter from citibank dated last December 10, 2009 stated my debts with one month penalty. I was shocked because I did not have a transaction from any citibank services and until now I did not received my credit card.

i noticed also nga sayop ang spelling sa akong family name, Betulan nga dapat Bentulan. possible kaha nga dili to ako kay sumala sa akong giingon wala man ko makadawat sa akong credit card and how come nga nagkautang ko?

unsay mag-una, ang approval letter with PIN or ang credit card o dungan?

kung para gyod to nako makabayad ba gyod ko? they just advise my family representative nga ako mismo ang motawag nila but hangtod karon dili gyod ko makasulod mas dako na akong nagasto nga load kay sa akong utang nila kuno nga nag kantidad og 2k+. gusto lng nako unta nga ma-blocked aron dili na magamit og usab..

pls give me your wise advise guys kay libog nako ani dugang sa problema...

naa jud nay ingon ana liek sa akong officemates back in call center days.... naa siguro nag binuang ug apply under your name.... ga forge.. then changed lang address ug contact info for delivery... ipasaka na sa legal dept sa cc company ug ipa verify ang application for that said credit card...

hala noh? ang PIN raman akong nadawat before unya nawala na baya kay dugay na baya to pag 2008 pa then karon lng gigamit...

unsa pasabot nimo nga "cc company"? mo try na sad ko og tawag nila kay lisod gyod kaayo..

ka try pud ako sister ani...... she didn't receive the credit card yet.... she just applied..

weeks later they trace the card it was used in Gaisano Metro... for a grocery worth of 15k...

under the name of my sister. the good thing for my sister is she really didn't receive it totally.

it was left ra sa hospital nga iya ge trabaho-an. ge kasu kasu sa mga banks. we never paid for it.

well boang raman siguro ang mo bayad ug ingon ana...

my advice? find a lawyer. that's It...

same as my situation wala pa sad baya nako madawat ang card..motawag pa sad lage ko apan maglisod kog sulod kay niadto naman akong mama sa ayala branch nila pero ingon sila ako kuno mismo motawag..

asa man niduol imong sister? mao nalang gyod siguro bisag hasol kay maglisod gyod ko kay naa baya intawon nako diri naglangyaw..salamat

this is just one form of identity theft. Chances are lang ani is naay contact sa sulod sa cc company or maybe sa courier para makuha ang card. The government IDs are next which is easy to fabricate. Then gamit na dayon imong card. Then few days after naa na kay bill.

oh my God..akong gichecked og balik akong sent messages og akong nakit-an akong gi-email regarding my credit card problem pero i found out nga nasayop diay ko, dili man diay citibank akong giaplayan before kondili sa BPI og wala nay lain pa..same bank raba ni sila or connected? and how come nga ni-eksena ang citibank kung dili sila related? mao ni akong gi-email before..

i noticed also nga sayop ang spelling sa akong family name, Betulan nga dapat Bentulan.

.. that alone is a reason for you to be relieved. Even if it was mailed to your office, Betulan is not Bentulan, therefore, that is not you. hence, no need for you to worry.

makalagot jud ng mga agent sa credit card kay magbuot2 og apply para lang mkakuha sila sa ilang commission kung ma approved ang card, naay manawag nako taga bank nya mu.ingon nga nagverify sila sa akong application....nya wala bya jud ko mag.apply....ako bitaw gpangutana kung kinsa ang agent nga nagprocess sa akong application kay akong e.forward sa akong abogado, duh! dili lagi makasulti, ingon nalng nga "sir, ako lang ni e.cancel imong application".
