Cebu will be the most livable city in Asia by the year 2015??

THE CEBU City government is stepping up efforts to regain its lofty position in the Top 10 Most Livable Cities in Asia.

In 1996, an Asiaweek Magazine survey named Cebu City as the eighth most livable city in Asia. Four years later, however, its ranking slid to 22.

Can we achieve this??

Yes we can. Let us start with ourselves. Clean up the city by not littering, spitting and smoking in public places. Obey traffic rules. Sakay o kanaug lang sa jeepney stop ug badlunga ang jeepney driver kung dili motuman ani balud. These are the little things we can do to contribute but the things people appreciate.

yup we can do this....but the problem with sqaters is very visible in the problem with street children begging in the streets..thi could hurt us because tourist are everywhere in the city and its up to them to say how things are in this city.

when i read the topic, I had in mind "most livable for the filipinos"... squatters and street children included!

and now here's a comment na murag, they don't even belong, na the city isn't for them, they have to be driven out para the city would look good to FOREIGNERS!

Cebu can be the most livable city as long as the idiotic Mayor doesn't encourage vigilante killings. It's probably because of his big mouth that there are all these unsolved extra-judicial killings.

If ever Cebu will be the most livable city in asia......well let the problems of homeless people be settled first coz how can we become livable if the people with in are homeless?......and aside from that there are lots of theft....every where......one causes of theft that urges them to steal was poverty......
