sir, illegal man gud mag sell ug sailfin lizard unless they are captive bred and registered sa DENR. basin gi pang dakop na to sa manalili....

bro murag wla njud dha sa manalili kay nka basa kog thread early last year na naay mo lihuk pra ma hunong ang pagbaligya sa sailfin lizard dd2s manalili... kay luoy kaau ang mga lizard dd2 dghan kaaug samad nya hapit na bya na sila ma endangered.. may rapud g.aksyonan to kay luoy kaau...

Most sailfins die in captivity because people don't understand their requirements. The DENR isn't doing enough to educate people about protected species or deal with the poachers/vendors. It's up to us as responsible animal lovers to spread the word.

They're kind of expensive here, but Green Iguanas can be bought legally and they are not as nervous as sailfins so maybe that's an option for you.
