something about Adler's theory on birth order...
    just a theory...
    hmm...
neo Adlerians say that whenever a family's in chaos...
the middle child would be quick to take the peacemaker role...
so the middle child syndrome is not so bad...

    middle child syndrome:
The middle or second born child or children often have the sense of not belonging. They fight to receive attention from parents and others because they feel many times they are being ignored or dubbed off as being the same as another sibling. Being in the middle a child can feel insecure. The middle child often lacks drive and looks for direction from the first born child. Sometimes a middle child feels out of place because they are not over achievers and like to go with the flow of things.

I think it depends on the family and the the middle child is raised. Sa ako cuz family kay and eldest pinangga sa dad, and second pinangga sa mom... and third nuon and na himu ug murag middle child. Kanang left out primi sa mga pang buhaton and all.

It's a sad situation really. But it's how they were brought up.
