    Default real world conroe testing...

    applications benchmarks here

It is certain though that the weeks we have spent with Intel’s Core 2 Duo and Extreme have taught us that Intel is back in the ring and a certain contender when it comes to high powered desktop computing. I have not found any negative aspects to Core 2 at all. If you are buying a new computer system or doing a major upgrade, Intel Core 2 Duo or Extreme should be at the top of your list.
    games benchmarks here

Let's just cut to the chase. You will see a lot of gaming benchmarks today that just simply lie to you. That is right, you will see frames per second numbers that are at their best total BS, and at their worst a terrible representation of what difference a new Intel Core 2 processor will make in your gaming experience. The old ways of video game benchmarking do little to tell you about exactly how a new CPU will impact how you play your games or what experience your system supplies to you. Having more CPU power is a very cool thing, but being able to utilize it is not an easy thing to do now days.
    power benchmarks

What we are going to do today is actually very simple. We have tested the very similar systems and measured just how much power it takes to run each system under different work loads. We do this by plugging our power supply into a device that sits between the power supply and the wall socket. This device will report to use the wattage that the system is using. We then take that data under different loads and simply report it to you here.
    pricing

These pages are for geeks only as they outline the power specifications for Intel's Core 2 Duo and Extreme Processors. For those of you that are looking for more real-world results, I would suggest you see our article that directly compares the real wattage that is needed to drive today's systems that we have published here.

same old benchmarks found a month ago, those were already real world performance.
but whats impressive is that a E6700 can perform upto FX-62 and for half the price, gaming wise not much of a difference since games today are bound so much on the GPU

after the price cut the single core 3700+ is at Php 8,000 ( converted ) thats still phase 1 of the price cut. so its highly possible that the 3800X2 can reach 5k.. ang Intel 805D tag 8k ra bya

more price cut are set to come...

In an attempt to stem a slow loss of market share, Intel has deeply discounted what computer manufacturers pay for many of its existing processors. AMD has been forced to cut prices as well. And further cuts could be coming, analysts say. That means consumers in the market for a new computer could soon get even bigger bargains.
