The Pope stated that "evolution may be a better explanation".

Genesis 1 - In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth...

God created everything from the beginning and there was no evolution in the Bible. We did not evolve!
We cannot believe both because they contradict each other. If you believe in evolution it simply means you deny God as our creator.

Honest science and logic show that our incredibly marvelous and complex world could never have evolved by accident.

Remember that the scientific method requires observation and repeatable research. So calling evolution “science” doesn’t make any sense

And once again the bible haters show themselves for who they really are again. You can not talk about the flaws in the scientific theories discussed in the article. You do not have the understanding of the sciences or the brains to indulge in intelligent conversation or debate. hehehe... the article is from a Christian website and written by a pastor who, by the way, probably knows little about science/evolution like the rest of us as Mr. Scientist here claims. i agree with bluedes, it's kinda funny how he discredits evolution and presents "evidence" (w/c is really not evidence) for creation.

heres how it goes brad . we dun hate the bible . when bible hasnt been written yet. everyone is an athiest . when there was still no concept of a god.

now if somedoy writes a new bible , a book . is not believing it makes us a bore, or lack of education ur saying .

now ,maybe we can learn ageless wisdom from the bible , but why not accewpt the fact the evlution is true , as waht the popes did .

and tel the world that Noas ark, separation of red sea, 6 day creation are just parables that can teach a lesson . be realistic . MR.

you mistake your label as bible haters.. hate is such a strong word..

its kinda condescending for you to claim that we have little or no actual science education.. why? what happened to your "science education"? you didn't like it that much and just decided to throw it out the window and put yourself down at the feet of religion instead? what a waste for all that "science education" you went thru.. or maybe too afraid to question the Bible for fear you might go to *hell*? whoever said if u question the bible that it would be bad anyway..

natural selection is a modern idea.. it supersedes earlier primitive ideas of how living things came to be.. but you still choose to cling to your precious Bible literally..

its only natural to question the validity of the accounts in the bible, and like what cromagnon said, some of them are parables or stories for children meant to pass on some moral lessons thru tradition..
