I've tried it on my 50D and it works...
dili man delikado...palit ug blower sa cam shops - Gizmo or Photoshop. then follow the sensor cleaning instructions in the user's manual.
could be dust.....use a blower to clean and reshoot to check if the spot is still there.

you can use Adobe Gamma to calibrate your monitor. it installs with photoshop, but if it doesn't, you can download it separately on the internet. just do a google search.
