kung day use lang, why not rent one of the cottages instead of getting a room at a resort (so that it will come out cheaper)? there are cottages costing 300-600 per day use in bas daku...
the big (and nice) resorts in bas daku are club serena 3k-3.6k per room good for two, and ravenala which is 3k per room good for two (max 3, you pay for additional bed) - both are prices for aircon...
sayang wala na preserve ang basdiot... mao man sab ang una nga na-develop gud (originally just a fishing village and was transformed into a mass of bars and resorts, a popular jumpoff point for good...
Basdiot = Panagsama beach
that's where the "nightlife" in Moalboal is... it used to be a fishing village but was later developed to resorts and dive centers... if you like to swim and love the feel...
if you plan to go to moalboal... book a room in Club Serena (63-32 4172445) since they have a nice stretch of white beach in front and is one of two resorts in Moalboal with a pool...

my friend and her family stayed at Club Serena a month ago and she told me that they really enjoyed it there since the staff are courteous and they go the extra mile to make your stay memorable......
Nice ang moalboal... especially if you want to go snorkeling/ diving...
