why not put a router? isolate the network of client1, make subnets, then establish a routing table for your other clients. i think it's simpler this way.
or you can go ahead and buy a cheap D-Link router, plug your wi-fi connection and viola! you don't need to boot up the server that acts as a router. i think it cost around 4K or less.
