    Default About COBOL Programming Language

    Hi everyone!

I just want to ask, for those who have experience or knowledge about COBOL Programming Language, can you give/suggest/differentiate it from other programming languages like Java, PHP etc.?

Curious lang jud ko. Ganahan ko makat-on bisag "old-fashioned" na nga matawag ang COBOL. Gamit man gihapon gud cya. So, yeah. Please reply to this thread.

Thank you and have a nice day!

sa 486 systems pa man ni. need mo pa ug floppy disk to operate sa machine.way back 1984-1992 mao pa ni gamit sa offis namo sa central azucarera.pag abot noong windows 95 na face-out na ang mga machine, nag ilis mi ug pentium 1-3 na mga intel base. bisan kabalo ka ni sa COBOL language, wala naman machine na paggamitan sa language.

Sorry, might as well remove the adjective "widely". But it is still being used today, nonetheless.

This language is a thing of the past I would say and nobody will say anything else entirely on that matter, so hopefully you really can find some job which will require it, but I do not see that it will be so anyway. Hopefully it will fix itself.
