Will a stricter process of getting a driver's license lessen the number of delinquent motorists?

yes of course...most accidents include PUJ's or PUB's where most of their drivers are not well trained. and the LTO just let them acquire license without even checking if the said driver knows how to drive...

I agree sa istrikto pag kuha, kanang naa gyuy exam and driving test like the U.S. and dili pwede byaran. Problema kung magimplement ta ani kay pwede rasad byaran. A good example is kanang smoke test na pwede ra bayaran para kapasar ka sa test, so daghan gihapon smoke belchers na ma renew ang rehistro. Bisan unsa pa klaseng inistrikto atong ipa implement dri , dili gyud magsilbi. Resulta hinuon kay daghan natang bayaranan na fee.

a stricter process will lead to more kurakot from LTO and more headaches for us because of very long processing time.

I agree too... more than 50% sa driver license holder I think ang hing agi ug backdoor... mao na nga dagh'an gyud ang mga badlongon... For me though dili ko badlongong (wink wink

) I got my
license through my cozin.. lol hehehe but I got a good driving lessons though.
