Governor Gwendolyn F. Garcia (Keynote Speaker)
Is the Governor of the province of Cebu. She was first elected in 2004 and re-elected in 2007. She is Cebu's first woman governor.Before being elected as Cebu's first woman governor, she was a Consultant on Systems Promotion and Development at the Cebu Provincial Capitol. She was also a Consultant on Financial Affairs to the former Governor Pablo Garcia.
Former DENR Secretary Elisea "Bebet" Gozun (Beyond Tree Plating: The Sustainability Imperative)
Known in the Philippines as a leading activist of the environmental movement, Ms. Gozun served as Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources from December 2002 to September 2004. As Secretary, she advised the President on issues regarding the conservation, management, development and proper use of the country’s environment and natural resources; supervised all functions and activities of the department, and established policies and streamlined processes for the more efficient and effective operations of the department. She also expanded and strengthened partnerships with other stakeholders and promoted the use of economic instruments and public disclosure to complement the government’s command control approach.
Mr. Erramon "Montxu" Aboitiz (Cleanergy: Customer Engagement as Driver for Renewable Energy)
Has served as Director of ATS since September 2002. He was an Audit Committee member until January 22, 2009. He is concurrently President and Chief Executive Officer of Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Inc., Aboitiz Power Corp., Aboitiz and Co., Inc. and Philippine Hydropower Corp.; Chairman of the Board of Directors of Davao Light and Power Co., Inc., City Savings Bank, Subic EnerZone Corp., San Fernando Electric Light and Power Co., Mactan Enerzone Corp., Subic Enerzone Corp., Balamban Enerzone Corp. and Pilmico Animal Nutrition Corp.; Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hedcor, Inc.; and President and Trustee of Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, major in Accounting and Finance from Gonzaga University, Spokane, U.S.A.
Mr. Antonio "Tony" Meloto, Jr. (People and Sustainability)
Is the founder of Gawad Kalinga, an international humanitarian movement that has built communities for the poorest of the poor in the Philippines.
Arch. Felino Palafox, Jr. (Fixing the Problem, Not the Blame)
Is a prominent architect, urban planner and environmentalist. He is the founder of Palafox Associates, the only Filipino and the only Southeast Asian architectural firm to first make it into the list of the world’s top 200 architectural firms compiled by the London-based World Architecture magazine. He was instrumental in many real estate developments in the Philippines such as the establishment of Rockwell Center, Robinsons and SM malls, Gateway Mall in Araneta Center, Waltermart malls, Regency Boracay Hotel, La Mesa Watershed and Ecological Center in Quezon City and Subic Special Economic Zone.
Atty. Alexander L. Lacson (My Country. My Business.)
Is a lawyer, author, lecturer, philanthropist and politician running in the 2010 Philippine Senatorial Election. He is best known as the author of "12 Little Things Every Filipino Can Do To Help Our Country."
Ms. Yolanda V. Ong (Preparing a Winning Advocacy Program)
Is the current Group Chairperson of Campaigns and Grey and six affiliate companies. Having won several awards for her contribution in the advertising and PR industry, Ms. Ong is one of the leading resource persons when it comes t o media communications, public image-building and political campaign strategies. With her extensive experience in advertising and public relations, she has broad knowledge in image building and media campaigning for political candidates. Ms. Ong graduated from the University of the Philippines with a degree in AB Journalism and earned her degree in Masters in Public Administration (major in Leadership) from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University in 2002.
Mr. Brad Reddersen (Business Ecosystem and Strategic Planning)
Is the CEO and Founder of Stranova.com, a consulting group focusing on Strategic Innovation Planning for emerging businesses and turnarounds. He has over 30 years experience leading innovative high-tech organizations, with a career focus in computing systems beginning with some of the earliest work in high-density optical data storage in the 1970s to his most recent corporate role leading the development of graphics supercomputers, desktop systems, and software for SGI. He is a published author and speaker, and is the inventor of 27 granted patents, worldwide, with others pending.

We will also be launching a province-wide green campaign, "My Country. My Business." We will be selling bumper stickers, t-shirts, and many other items. All proceeds will go to funding projects for a greener Cebu! Let's all do our part in making this a success!
