Default Web Developer/Wordpress and PHP Expert

    Type of Position: Full-Time
Work Time Zone: Flexible with this requirement. As long as they’re ok with working 40 hours a week.
Daily Reporting and Accountability: I will be expecting daily reporting of course, this will be completed in both the form of a daily email, and the filling in of a monthly time sheet.
    Proposed Compensation: 20,000 — 25,000 PHP
    Daily Work Description:
The successful candidate will have a vast knowledge and skills with web programming, building and modifying websites, and have especially good knowledge and skills when it comes to working with the Wordpress platform. It is VERY important that this person has a VERY high standard of English, so that they can communicate well with me on the requirements of current projects, and understand when I need them to do certain things or make changes in the website designs or other projects.
The person will mainly be working to create 2 types of websites for my companies clients, and will spend the majority of their work hours doing:
    1. Simple draft websites, either using wordpress themes as they are, or making very minor tweaks and adjustments to the designs. just to use as a first edition which can be shown to the clients before working on their full website (these sites will generally take 5-10 mins to setup — so are expected to be done very quickly) — For this part of the work, the employee may need to research and find appropriate themes to use for the clients draft website (this will be dependent upon the type of business that the client is involved with, eg: Financial, Food industry, Health and Beauty industry etc — in most cases this is just a matter of looking around the internet for Free and good quality wordpress themes to be used)
    2. The full version of clients websites, these will be more involved, and will sometimes need more design changes, CSS modifications, and other modifications to the code and structure of the already existing Wordpress theme that the client has chosen as the basis for their completed website. All the content will be supplied (articles, pictures and other things to go on the websites pages), as it will be specific to the client, the persons job will then be to upload that content, making sure it looks appealing and aesthetically attractive, and is organised in the way the client has specified in their details. Then, as
mentioned above, if necessary, the employee will need to be able to make any necessary, or desirable design or structure changes to the Wordpress site, to make it as high quality as possible, and to the standards of my company, and my clients needs. These sites should generally take the employee no more than 30-90 minutes to complete (less if possible), as all the content will be supplied, and usually the design changes will be very simple and easy to complete.
Apart from the above specific tasks, it’s important that the winning candidate is open to learning new tasks that may be required of them (although they will always be within the persons level of skill and understanding).
The person will need to understand how to keep a log of their completed work, which will mainly be done using simple tools like Google docs spreadsheets, and emails (to keep track of sites that have been completed and are ready to pass on to clients) — Of course they will also need to understand and be willing to adhere to daily employee reporting — to report what work they completed for each day.
That’s pretty much it, here’s a brief list of general skills that the person should have, in order to be considered:
    • Proficiency working with Wordpress framework, PHP, CSS3, HTML5, jQuery, and MySQL database required.
    • Experience in designing, developing, deploying, managing, and supporting advanced e-commerce websites.
    • Familiarity with social media tools including Facebook plug-ins, Twitter, and RSS feeds, etc.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
