Greenstuff is an air drying epoxyclay. It's a little expensive, so you can also use Pioneer epoxyclay. As for the prices, they might vary from site to site, so please feel free to use the internet to check Games Workshop for the items you want. I can then help you contact the owner of Neutral Grounds so you can order. It's a great tool, you know. Also check out local hardware stores for Pioneer aqua epoxy clay. Tamiya also has epoxy putty, but it's out of stock. I don't know how much it costs though.

As for my dragon project, I'm hitting a little snag about sculpting the scales. The wood carving tools I bought are great for carving the hardened putty, but I need finer tools for the small scales. Pics to follow.

    Cheers!

Posting your work will be nice, just make your own thread.

Dang it, pics are going to be delayed as my camera seems to have been misplaced though...

    Default UPDATE! Neck finished.

    Hi again folks.

This time, I managed to flesh the neck out a little more. Epoxyclay is a little more challenging to use than I thought. And since I am not skilled enough yet to sculpt it well, I decided that the VSD would get some armor plates. This dragon is sentient though, so the armor plates don't exactly mean that he/she [?] can be ridden by anyone.

The plates are made of used prepaid cellphone load cards.

I hope you like it. Comments and criticisms are welcomed.

    Cheers!

After some thinking, I decided to strip the armor off and revisit making the scales. I'm going to sribe each scale where the armor was so that I get a better overall look to the dragon. Hopefully, I will be done by Saturday and post new pics.

    Cheers!

I took the dragon with me to the gaming store I frequent and to kill time, I started scratching away at the cured epoxyputty, making sure that the scales I made weren't too big or small and "random looking". Pretty soon, I had decent looking scales. yay. Gimme a minute, while I take a quick picture...

    Ok, here we go.

I am quite happy with how it turned out because it looks better than what I expected. Looks like I have to do a little more work where the scales meet the spine. You will notice some parts where it's blue. I'm going to put a little epoxyputty there and smooth it out, then when it cures, I'll scratch some more scales.

    Cheers!

Thanks, ground_crashed. I'm still waiting for the putty to dry on the other side of the neck so I can start scribing more scales.

    Cheers!

    Hi folks,

    Here's the latest progress:

Should I still add horns to the neck, or do you think it's okay for me to start priming this guy?

    Cheers!
