    TS if you can afford a 43" 4K TV, electricity should be your least of worries. you don't buy a Bugatti car and worry about gas. 80 watts is already lesser versus my example so that's good already.

    if you are really concerned of electricity because your family is watching 24/7, use a smaller sized TV instead. like buying a toyota wigo versus the bugatti.

    Mao lagi..ang akoa lang at first wa nko masabti kay supposed to be LED mas tipid we used to have a plasma before mao mas grabe to thats why nang ask ko kron kay it got me into curiosity nganong kas man..anyway naka palit nako well see how..thanks sa input..

    look it up on google about energy consumption of 4k uhd tv's. it said and based on the study conducted by an organization overseas , it typically consumes 30 % more power than hd tv's.

    "The extra power is required because the backlights these screens use has to be a lot brighter in order to deliver those vibrant colors. The other big energy draw: the processing power required to drive that imagery."

    Technically, kung imo siya e compare sa old CRT TV's, mas less jud siya consumption considering the size.

    Butang ta lang 21 inch CRT = 42 inch LED = 100 watts. So kung 21 inch na LED imo kuhaOn, makita jud nimo na mas less jud iya consumption.
