Way back 1946 when the Americans granted us independence, there was a strong objection by the Muslims for the inclusion of Mindanao into the Republic of the Philippines, a strong indication that they wanted the entire Mindanao as per ancestral claim. Then what about the Christians in Mindanao?. Granting the pass of federalism would only give them a foothold in fostering their claim.
ang mahitabo ani boss kay parehas tingali sa gibuhat sa mga puti didto sa amerika. ang unang tag iya sa mga kayutaan didto kay ang mga Indians man unta.

mga european immigrants ra man na mga puti nga amerkano na karon.

We are already at worst. we can't get any worst than this. Kani atong goberno krn sige rag doctor sa mga statistics then ipang hambog dayun nga their administration is better than the previous. WTF! tabla rag nag kompara ug duha ka batig nawng unya pilion nmo kinsay mas gwapo sa duha. We need a government that will aim for greatness, not just surpass the previous administration. unya ang ilang statistics di raba jd ramdam sa mga tao.

but as stupid as i am, just look at our country's geography:
we are an archipelago. we aren't one single land mass, that's why federalism is best for us.
and we already laid the basics of federalism by dividing the country into regions
i'm sure those regions can stand on their own if we have a federal government.
Its not all about the geography, look at Japan its an archipelago too. Yet they where able to become a 1st world country even without federalism. As of now, the cons of federalism still outweighs the pros, unless of course federalism is passed together with FOI law.

We can still be worst than this, why? because we not yet at the bottom of poverty and corruption index.

Yes we can aim for greatness, federalism can do that if we can offset its cons by adapting a Parliamentary-Federal System and passing FOI law.

If you only support federalism because "si duterte mudala" then you are not considering the bigger picture. Duterte can only be president for 6-years.

I think you nailed the most important thing that we truly need, FOI.

We can still be worst if we don't change the system, bsan pa ug kinsa ang molingkod with the same system Philippines will still be the same, tanan Presidential candidate pabor man sa FOI but only Duterte wants to change the system.
