have typecasted filipinos as nannies?"

A: "i take no offence on being typecasted as a
nanny. But i do take offence that the educated people of the world have
somehow denegrated the true sense and meaning of what a nanny is. let me
tell you what she is. she is someone who gives more than she takes. She is
someone you trust to look after the very people most precious to you - your
child, the elderly, yourself. she is the one who has made a living out of
caring and loving other people. so to those who have typecasted us as
nannies, thank you. it is a testament to the loving and caring culture of
the Filipino people. and for that, i am forever proud and grateful of my
roots and culture."

I have great respect for pinay Nannies since nagdaku akong mga kids around their Nannies just so i can go to work.

Exactly... nannies in child and adultcare here in the States are earning okay. Pinoy nannies are mostly preferred because of the traits mentioned above. It is something to be proud of. People here don't just hire anybody... they hire nannies with extra care because they entrust their child or their elderly to them. Nannies rock! Ako gani, I can be a nanny coz am a good mom. I don't mind doing childcare for a living kung wala nalang puy laing choice.

wala lang na silay lingaw. pero sa totoo lang, mas maayo ang mga pinoy mahimong nannies kay mopangga jud sa ilang mga alaga. very dedicated jud. try hiring american nannies oh, may ug naay amo nga molahutay.

That's so true WinFlo... butangan nalang gud surveilance camera para panid-an ang yaya. Kulang gyud na sila ug Tender Loving Care.. whilst pinoy nannies? Innately mapinanggaon gyud.

Exactly gyud....i prefer hiring and paying for Pinay nannies because they really treat it like their own kids too. My kids both of them were raised sa ilang Nannies from birth till nagdaku na sila and started going to school. Akong nanny mao mopakaon, magligo, mag ilis sa ila ug magdala sa skool hatid sundo sa school. In the morning, i carry all the bags drop the kid at the nanny's house i pick up the kid after work in between sila na tanan. So i was lucky to find babysitters na pinoy and my kids nagdaku gyud didto. Even now daku na akong mga kids, they still go to their nannies house unya mohangop gyud na sila coz its like extended family na. Of course i have to pay their salaries cause that is their job too, taking care of kids. Wala ko ka experience anang balhin balhin ug mga nannies akong anak. Only one for each one of them and they were also elderly filipina nannies like in their late 50s so maayo gyud kaayo mobantay ug mga bata mga expert na kaayo. Even my kids call them Nanay already.
