Yesterday I decided to withdraw what's left of my RCBC savings atm. Before I left the house, I checked my account balance online so I would know exactly how much to withdraw. I then went to ShopWise and used BPI machine.
Currently, there are 2 active atm machines in Shopwise; BPI and China Bank. I chose BPI kay wala may tao nag linya. The machine displayed a message if I want to proceed with the transaction even if it cannot dispense a receipt. That was okay with me since hutdon man nako ang sud sa account I won't be needing the receipt.
After pressing the YES button I waited while the machine processed the transaction. I did not hear the machine readying to dispense cash and later on ni-display in blue screen something like "sorry transaction cannot be processed...". I've experienced this a number of times so I thought wala lang available nga cash ang machine, no wonder walay naglinya.
I went in line to the other atm--China Bank. When it was my turn, I did the same thing; withdraw from savings and typed the amount. I got the same message in blue screen. By the time I'm done, I saw some people being able to withdraw from the BPI machine which is just beside the China Bank machine. I started to worry.
I decided to do a balance inquiry (China Bank machine), and I got the same message in blue screen. I thought maybe rcbc servers are just offline by that time and gi dimalas lang ko I can't withdraw at the moment.
Then just today, I decided to do an online balance inquiry. The money I'm supposed to withdraw yesterday wasn't there anymore.
From this point I don't know what to do. So if there's someone here who experienced this before, I need your advise. Even if I will call both bank who owns the machines, what would I tell them? I doubt if this case has a chance since I don't have a receipt to prove the transaction I tried to process yesterday.
The amount I tried to withdraw is not really that big for me to worry too much but I'm worried about the future because there's a big chance this might happen again.
