for me ok raman ang maternity packages. maka save gyud ka. dili kau sakit sa imong bulsa kay pagpanganak nimo dili man kau dako na ang imong bayaran.

for me lang kaha noh, wala man ko ka experience pero i've seen some and heard some sa akong mga friends na nagpapapackage deal kay awkward daw kuno kau kay daghan man mu daw kuno magpa prenatal. mao na ang ilang comments. pero aside ana wala man kau sila comments na bad.

    congrats sa u baby.

    Congratulations sa pregnancy mo.

I took the package deal ng Cebu Doc. The only other choice was Chong Hua.

Reasons why I took the Cebu Doc one:

    1. Over all it was cheaper. (Discounts sa laboratory, etc etc)
    2. Ward nga sya BUT solo ko ang cubicle. (5 yrs back sa Chong Hua you had to share a room with 3 other women)
    3. Nicer waiting area for relatives while you are in labor.
    4. Nicer viewing area sa nursery hehehe

Whichever you choose... go have your pre-natal now. The sooner the better. I do not know how it is with the other hospitals but sa Cebu Doc... bayad ka 150p per visit and the serves as installment sa package mo. (Total installments deducted from the total bill)

My beloved son came out via CS and I paid about 10% of the rates of CS now. Would I do it again for my next pregnancy? Most probably.

    God bless you both!

Congrats! Im also preggy now, 6 mos..

My friend told me kay iyang sister in law nanganak man sa Cebu DOc. 4k plus ra ilang nabayran. Humana nana deduct sa Philhealth etc..
I agree makasave jud ka if package. Dako au ang difference. Kay sa Chong Hua daw ang Normal delivery kay 50k+ ang Perpetual mga 20-30k.

Plan nako adto ko manganak sa Perpetual, pero dili package. I have a private doctor man gud.. Sa package bisan kinsa ra daw ang mu-prenatal nimo.. dili man ko ganahan ana..

there is a group of doctors there na nag-residency. during my time there were i think mga 3 na junior and 2 senior. you can always ask for the day that a certain resident is there na duty. (like me ha ha. lahat sila ka-txt ko nung preggy ako kay cge sila order ng carrot cake ko).

    pink_baby_f, d'monyita, vicente1 and khymm....Thanks a lot for the replies.

Actually, nag enroll nako for a maternity package @ Perpetual Succour last Wednesday. And tinood gyud inyo gsulti, resident OB's ang mo check up and there are a number of them. There are req'ts to be met also, like kinahanglan mo donate ug one bag of blood, then in person pajud ang paadtoon, dli basta2 kapalit lang sa blood bank.

The only thing that persuades me to go on a package deal is ang cost of CS, if ever, ma CS ko (simbako lang) w/c i'll pray it will not...then i'll go on one OB-Gyne only. I heard CS would cost about 60-100k nowadays, if not package.

I'm 8 weeks pregnant base on crown-rump length and 9 weeks base on the gestational sac.
