If your goal is to gain mass and you're a beginner, you may need to assess everything, from your lifestyle to your diet and the sacrifices you're willing to make. Even if you only work out at home, you need to ensure that you have a good sense of managing your time. Working out right after a night shift can be shitty at first but as soon as the body adapts everything else follow. If your on a night shift, try to test where your body best fits, workout right after duty or before it. I could go for either of the two though let me explain the ups and downs:

    right after shift:
you may feel weak at first as your body is telling you to sleep by then but worry not, the body will be able to handle the stress. Good thing with bodybuilding is that you don't go all out for the whole 1 hour and a half. There are rest intervals which allows your body to gather enough strength for another set. You'd also feel good after a workout as sleep will be appreciated. But don't forget nutrition right after workout and oh, supplement. Your target by then is to be able to sleep 6-7 or if lucky 8 hours. So right after duty, workout daun doh!

    Before shift:
This is what I do right now as I wanna be with my woman at the gym. You're stronger I would say as nakatog naka tarung though and imong enemy is the heat, assuming walay AC imong room , oh i forgot at home diay ka. So slash this one out. The only enemy on this time, is well, time itself. hehehe But overall this is a good time to workout kay imo macontrol imo time.

I hope this helps. Sorry just woke up but thought I'd share a thing or two. Good luck with your endeavor dude! Keep hitting wieghts, daghan jud benefit.

(p.s. sorry wa nakoy time magproofread.. lol)

Cge mga tol. Good luck ! kaya na ninyo . Time management ra gud na. If all fails and wa na moy time for the day, SLEEP. kana ang pina ka best na advise nako para tomorrow will be the day of judgement. Bust your ass in the gym on the next day. Sleep. Eat. Train. Grow.

Ako kapila nako kasulay after workout walay cooldown2x largo ligo (lukewarm water) wala jud ko nadaot. Kana pud mag long ride (cycling) maulanan mi okay ra japon wala jud mi nasakit or napasma or naunsa. For your reference bro: Taking a bath after working out... - Bodybuilding.com Forums

Ako pud, nakasturya ko sa doctora about ana and she doesn't believe na harmful maligo after workout. pero i guess it's a case to case basis. Like myself, if mabasa ako likod after a strenous workout (say less than an hour) mura jud ko hilantan ika-ugma. If hina mo ug pulmonary system I doubt you won't feel a thing is maligo mo after working out,. Pero i gues pwede ra pero kanang paspas ra kaau like 10 minutes or less. Ako mga amigo maligo man and wa may effect. Ako ra tingali ang hina. So what i do is i take a bath without getting my back wet. I don't know if ligo pa ba tawag ana but it kept me healthy for years now.

I understand your case bro. But in a perfect world nga walay ma compromise like naturalfreakcy's pulmonary system condition, okay ra jud ni maligo after workout. Wala na lang unta butangig shower room ang mga gym kung maka daot man diay nang ingun ana hehehe.
