Default PCOS (PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome) Success Stories

Hello ladies. I just want to ask if you have any success story with regards to dealing with this hormonal imbalance called PCOS (PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome). I have this medical condition and is now taking metformin and clomiphene citrate. I started this thread since a lot of women have this and is currently fighting over it. Your success story may inspire and give us hope that someday we will have a baby angel of our own.

Please do share your story and what steps have you gone through in order to get over it.

God Bless to all ladies who have this and remember not to lose hope.

Hi there! I have had hormonal imbalance since highschool and just took it for granted later did i know that I have PCOS, was diagnosed late of 2008. I seek medical help after 3 years of trying to conceive but to no avail. I was referred by a friend of a friend who had the same diagnosis as I have to visit her doctor since after some treatments she was able to have her baby. And so I did, it took me almost 2 years for my medication, Metformin and Clomiphene Citrate and constant visit to my OB for monitoring. I was even advised to a point of quitting my job which I gladly did just for the sake of having a baby..I took off from work for a year and still with the medication. And guess what, I am now on my 12 weeks...Yes, with all the patience and hardwork taking the medication which for me was hell since Metformin caused me to puke everyday(as a sideffect) and having a migraine too worsen my case but i battled it all. Now that I have this baby, twas all worth it..

And yeah, dont lose hope, I was once in your shoes. Hard may it seems but I managed to win over the PCOS thing. Thanks to my OB whose with me all the way to fight and conquer PCOS...

Hey ladies...at last God answered our prayers after only a year of trying. I'm already in my 18 weeks of pregnancy and so far our baby is doing great. To all ladies out there...just continue to pray because at the right time, God will always grant our desires especially if you also do your part by also researching and finding facts with regards to your medical condition. Actually, I had my polyp (in my uterus) removed last August and after a month, I got pregnant. We were surprised that aside from my PCOS, the polyp also added to our problem of not having a baby. So Ladies (and partners) my prayers are with you.

I have PCOS, my primary care physician put me on low dose estrogen, so i am taking Yaz for it and Also metformin. It helps also to shed off few pounds. I still dont know if I can have a child because I dont have a partner as we speak but the my doctor said I have a great chance of conceiving a baby. If I do decide to have a child I will have to be off Yaz and have few shots of hormones to get my system working.
