^ There's this different procedure for that. Its called LASEK. Ang definition pa sa sa site sa doctor sa CDH, and i quote: "The procedure involves gently removing the surface cells of the cornea before reshaping it with the laser. In PRK the surface cells are gently scraped away with a scalpel whereas in LASEK the surface cells are loosened by soaking the surface of the cornea in Alcohol for a minute and then gently displacing the surface layer. In effect the two procedures are identical apart form the method used to expose the surface of the cornea. LASEK has no advantage over PRK but the alcohol vapours around the laser may linger and may even have a detrimental effect on the excimer laser beam. PRK and LASEK are usually reserved for patients whose flat or thin corneas make them poor candidates for LASIK. To find out more about this type of laser eye surgery, please contact our LarrazabalEye Main Office (CDUH) practice."(source: Larrazabal Eye) It sounds painful and from what i heard from a patient who had this procedure, medyo ngul-ngul daw 3 days after the operation. She had to take pain relievers daw. Im not saying this to frighten anyone away. Im just saying it the way i know it. But I was glad myself that i had the right thickness in my cornea. Anyway, its a rare case naman siguro to have thin cornea.

    2. bawal mag shampoo for 3 days, and bawal bas-on ang mata. just to make sure na di masudlan ug hugaw imong eyes, to prevent infection o unsa, fresh pa bya ang flap. sa mga babaye, murag bawal mg make up for a certain period, 1 week ata.
-advisable pod na after sa operation matog. then for the first week,, dili ipa stress pag ayu,,although the day after surgery pwede naka maka work,,but mas maayu rest lang usa.
^^^ yeap for the girls, BAWAL make-up or any cosmetic products. Even on the day of the operation, no make-up and no perfume/cologne (because the laser machine daw kasi its really sensitive to alcohol(?) i think). Anything cosmetic, bawal, the day of the surgery and until the doctor says so. then you have to wear goggles while sleeping for a month right after surgery. yung goggles free from the clinic since its included in your 40K package.

possible man nga mobalik, there are a lot of factors, usa ana kanang abuse, cge lang kag computer, wa pahuway2x... usa is ang shape sa imo cornea,,,
ang lasik is mostly administered to those aged 25 and above,, sa akong nabasahan, age 25 mostly mg stop or stabilize ang formation sa imong cornea..
