We work day and night to provide the needs of our kids, apil na ang ilang wants. There is no other joy for a parent than to see his/her child get happy for that thing they sooo like nga nahatag nimo. However daghan na spoiled brats karon. lol and you fear one day you might not be able to cope up with ur kids' material demands. Naay uban sigeg pangayo, ig hatag nimo only to find out maguba or mawala in a few weeks' time.

So how do you teach your children the value of money? Or wala lang?

    Please share your insights.

mao jud ni pinakalisud nga task as a parent. u want to discipline ur kid pero ganahan sad ka ihatag sa iya tanan.

i bought my daughter a piggy bank where she could put her coins and save. i always tell her nga dili magpataka ug palit unless kelangan.

last month, i bought the "new ipad" for my 3yr old daughter kay she want one man. not that am spoiling her pero makatabang man sad sa iyaha and sa ako-a. mas paspas iyang learning thru the apps and mas makalihok ko sa balay kay ma-busy naman xa sa ipad or maka-eat na jud mi peacefully sa mga resto kay mapuyo xa. pero before to gipalit, gipa-promise siya nga mag-behave na and so far gi-keep man niya iyang promise. and i also explained to her nga mahal to and dapat ampingan. so far,di man sad xa abusada sa iyang mga gamit. iyang mga toys intact pa and dili xa pareha sa uban nga labay lang kay labay or dretso daun ug guba. she knew nga ang money gipalit was from his dad mao iyang gina-value iyang things.

OnT: With regards sa pag-balance with giving and not spoiling ur child, need naay limitation on giving pra di ma spoil. tagaan jud condition nga mura task na sa ila part pra they'll have the reward. if ever ma sense na nga nag-tantrums, psagdaan rmn na. ayaw paliti sa iya gusto ky makatimaan na sila nga manghatag diay ka sa ila gusto if ever mag-tantrums. Others will give what their child wants mn gud if mag-wild ky mauwaw sa uban taw....

giving piggybanks would be a good start..

Just buy things&toys that you can afford&explain to them why they can't have what they want all the time don't give in to there demands or else it will get bigger kids nowadays are very intelligent enough to understand&exploit you........

sa TS ; sa ikaw niadtong bata pa ka giunsa ka sa imong parents paghatag sa imong mga lohu or needs and leisure? na spoil ba ka? if giunsa ka sa imong parents pagpadako, then nagbunga ug maau why not do it to your kidz, and karaan nga paagi sa pagdisciplina pwede gihapon na maaply karon depende unsaon paghandle ang situation.

Katong bata pa ko my parents rarely give me money kay wala man jud koy angay paliton -- kung food (naa na ko sandwich ug Zest-O sa lunchbox) , dwaan ug clothes (palitan ra ko kung manuroy mis Gaisano Metro , Gazini Plaza , Gaisano South ug Gaisano Main) . Basta bata , pirmi jud na sila mangayo . Just like telling your kids that 'no stealing cookie/s from the cookie jar' but they'll end up trying to get a cookie when mommy is not looking . It's human nature .
