Yesterday, I received a teeny weeny bit of cash from someone which I had used to buy a few items for basic necessities. I had been swinging my arms back and forth while walking inside the mall to express my utmost happiness with the cash and I was thinking of buying a rice cooker (i know it is stupid that of all the things i have to buy, the rice cooker popped into my head. it's just that on my previous apartment, my housemates owned a rice cooker in which it can cook pasta, canned meals, and noodles. it was more than just a rice cooker. so i thought of keeping one for myself.) i was about to go upstairs for the appliances section when my nose caught on a scent--- the smell of old books. and i was tempted. i have this strange lust for old books. i love how they smell. and the thought of its previous owners. and so the thought of getting a rice cooker drifted off of my head. i followed my incessant hunger.
i stumbled upon a booksale. and my eyes went O_O... books! so i turned the whole place upside down looking for some interesting books that i can read. i found another gunslinger series from Stephen King (almost all of my gunslinger books are from booksales). i found one from tom clancey's. the lord of the rings set. i had a shopping spree inside that shop. but before i was able to reach the counter to pay for the books that piled up in my arms, i found the Fairy Tail Manga. some of you may not know, but i am addicted to mangas. right now it's Fairy Tail. I've been longing to hold a copy of a manga from this anime since i loved watching it knowing that its creator is the same one who made Rave (which brings a lot of nostalgia to me back on my AXN days). I quickly grabbed a copy before anyone else would grab it since it's the only copy left. I also bought two volumes following the first volume of Et Cetera which i enjoyed reading too. gaaah~! i will come back next week. prolly, there'd be more volumes! i love my discovery!!!!![]()
