Still a HOT ISSUE as to which city deserves the title "QUEEN CITY OF THE SOUTH". I guess the picture speaks louder than any other explanations. There's a big difference between "QUEEN'S CITY of the SOUTH" and "QUEEN CITY of the SOUTH", per historical claim by Iloilo: Queen City of the South. Both photos are searched through Google Image, "Cebu City Skyline" and "Iloilo City Skyline" respectively.

I came across this post Why Cebu gets the title. And as a cebuano my favorite line is, "No city in the south progressed as much as Cebu in so short a time during this period." Hope this helps.
