satur honor is cheap but for a little difference cherinicole has a pool and wifi. the island is almost a misnomer for non-surfers - that means the best accoms are near the surf areas and have no beach while the beautiful beaches are a tour away and "generally" have no accoms. even if there is makuyawan ka kay layo sa civilization. but satur honor, cherinicole and patrick's by the beach are in the town of general luna and you can walk to find little bakeries by the sidestreets where they bake their breads in contraptions murag lutuan ug bingka!

btw, many too (includes me) think that siargao is a small island like mactan, malapascua or bantayan. wrong! it is composed of about 8 or 9 kalungsod. habalhabal ride from general luna to airport takes about an hour. by the time you get there, roads are probably already paved (dusty, rough and under construction during my visit)
