The Vagina Monologues takes you on a whirlwind tour of emotions and experiences. TVM this year introduces over 30 women. They will lend their voices to the marginalized, abused, and exploited.
The play celebrates women's strength and sexuality with humor and grace. As each voice deals with aspects of the feminine experience. It brings you to a roller coaster of scenarios and emotions.
Every year the highlight is a new monologue on a current issue affecting women around the world. This year, TVM makes a special feature on the men who have been supportive of the global campaign. A recurring theme throughout the piece is the vagina as a tool of female empowerment and the ultimate embodiment of individuality.

The staging of TVM is for the benefit of Bidlisiw Foundation. Bidlisiw is a Filipino-managed NGO focused on helping the urban poor families, particularly the informal settlers in the cities of Cebu, Mandaue, and Talisay. Proceeds of the show provide access, opportunities, and hope for the marginalized women and children, families, and the communities in Cebu.
The benefit performance is on Sunday, February 26, 7:30 p.m. at the Santa Maria Ballroom of the Radisson Blu Cebu.
