• Scribe draws crowd in art workshops


      Scribe recently held a two-day event jam-packed with exciting art workshops and capsule classes. The theme of the event was #BeyondImagination. The event was organized to encourage creativity. The event was held last April 21 and 22 at SM Northwing.


      The first day of the event had a line up of nine workshops from 11 AM to 6 PM. The first workshop was on animal watercolor painting with Wilbert Wee. The second workshop was on gothic script calligraphy with Hansoy Jurado. Followed by modern calligraphy with AJ Tabino and loose florals painting with Camille Go. During the same time slot, a workshop on travel journaling with Aina Reyes-Paco also took place. The sixth workshop was on mixed media journaling with Marryl Erojo. Another workshop was on portrait watercolor painting with Thirdy Suralta. The eighth workshop was on calligraphy and paper marble with Chinchin Trinidad. The last workshop was on creativity in bullet journaling with Aina Reyes-Paco.




      The second day of the event had smaller classes. Two sets of capsule classes were arranged, from 1 PM to 3 PM and from 4 PM to 6 PM. Classes on modern pointed pen calligraphy with Charm Pia Tan, beginnerís guide to journaling with Marryl Erojo, and gothic calligraphy: flourishing with AJ Tabino were scheduled for the earlier time slot. On the other hand, classes on advanced gothic calligraphy with Hansoy Jurado, brush calligraphy: flourishing with Camille Go, architectural sketching with Aillen Abelita, and pet portraits watercolor painting with Wilbert Wee were scheduled for the later time slot.

      A watercolor station with Veronika Hipolito as well as calligraphy stations with Jen Abrenica and Gail Mah were set up. The event catered to art enthusiasts of different ages. Kids were given a special art station with Meream Pacayra.
