• Pastry making with Chef Benoit

      Unleashing the inner Chef within was as easy as 1,2,3 with the recipes that chef Benoit taught for the day.

      Waterfront’s Executive Chef, Chef Benoit Laboureux, shared his knowledge on some of the easiest and tastiest pastries. Chef Benoit has been teaching basic pastry making around the world for quite a number of years and he wishes to continue sharing his skills with the Cebuanos this time.

      The recipes were quick and a piece of cake. Though cakes were not made that day but goodies in a jar were created.

      Sweet classics such as tiramisu, chocolate truffles, lemon cream with fresh strawberry, and chocolate mousse and chocolate chips are some of the recipes that he taught to those who joined the pastry making classes.

      “I want to teach them pastries that are easy to do so they can do it at home," Chef Benoit said.
