The Parents-Teachers Association of OneWorld Montessori House presents “OneWorld, One Music: A Christmas Serenade” on December 3, 2016, Saturday 7PM at the St. Theresa's College Cebu City Auditorium.
The concert will feature the much celebrated Visayas Symphony Orchestra, tenor Kelly Ko and homegrown talents from OWMH.
The Christmas concert is intended to raise funds for “The F.A.R.M.” – an accredited drug rehabilitation center in Mambaling and in Talamban Cebu City that caters to those suffering from substance abuse. “We chose The F.A.R.M. as our beneficiary so we can contribute positively in solving the country's drug problem. We believe that rehabilitation is part of the solution and The F.A.R.M. addresses this need as they even take in indigent drug users,” says Dr. Jocelyn Kintanar, director of OWMH.
OWMH PTA president, Madonna Rivera, who also directs the show shares that music is a universal language understood by all regardless of social status and station in life. “It is a powerful tool for healing and rehabilitation. That is our core message: music is life.”
Tickets are available at Oneworld Montessori House.
