• Kappou Imamura Offers a Taste of Okada

      “Taste of Okada” was officially launched with an introduction of Japanese Kappou Imamura restaurant. During an exclusive two-night preview dinner in Cebu City last January 10 and 11. Dubbed as The Queen City in the South, Cebu, known for its thriving local epicurean and social scene. Making it the perfect venue and audience for Okada Manila’s first gastronomic showcase.

      Steve Wolstenholme and Michelin-starred Chef Hirofumi Imamura flew in for the occasion. Wolstenholme is the integrated resort’s Board of Director. Kappou Imamura is an upscale contemporary Japanese restaurant named after Chef Imamura. Chef Imamura realizes his vision of bringing to guests’ tables refined Japanese delicacies. Prepared with passion, skill, and precision.

      Cebu’s food aficionados and distinguished guests were treated to a six-course tasting menu. Featuring a repertoire of authentic Japanese fare. Including Flash-smoked Seasonal Fish Salad, Sake-simmered Live Lobster in Thick Winter Sauce, and Truffle Rice and Miso Soup. Guests were particularly pleased with luxurious specialties. Such as Yaki-Nituke Style Charcoal-grilled Kinki Fish and Stewed Japanese Wagyu Beef and Yuba Soy Skin. Chef Imamura presented guests with a sweet dessert surprise. Yuzu Gianduja with Bitter Chocolate Mousse Mango Sorbet to cap off the enjoyable meal.
