• Japanese nail salon opens in Cebu

Japanese nail salon, Vi Vogue, has opened in Cebu. It boasts of cutting-edge nail art technology and salon services. Since nail art has gained popularity, it has evolved from simple color combinations and loose glitter to more intricate designs involving domed pearls and rhinestones. Vi Vogue’s nail technicians are highly trained to ensure quality across all services. The salon’s trainer is from Japan.

Vi Vogue offers basic manicure and pedicure services, nail art, foot spa, and eyelash extensions. All main products are from Japan.

The owners of the salon first came to Cebu in August last year as tourists. During their visit, they decided to open Vi Vogue in Cebu. Tomoya Sato, Junki Tanikawa, and Yuki Tanaka’s vision for Vi Vogue is to incorporate Japanese culture into business. With that, they offer a make-up retouch area aside from salon services. Make-up has become a big part of Japanese culture, which is why many places in Japan have a retouch room for ladies. In the future, they intend on bringing hair-related machines to Cebu.

Vi Vogue is open from 10 AM to 9 PM on Sundays through Thursdays. On Friday and Saturday, they are open from 10 AM to 10 PM. It is located at Meerea High Street, Ouano Avenue, North Reclamation Area, Mandaue City. (Janna Yuvallos)
