In attendance of the Media Chill Night event were Cebu Daily News, Freeman, Sunstar, Zee Lifestyle, ABS-CBN, GMA, My TV, TV 5, Cebu Bloggers Society, Cebu Fashion Bloggers and Istorya.net.
Starting at 8PM, these noble purveyors of truth and trend setters took a little break and switched their game faces on. A total of 8 teams from an attendance of 12 media outlets braved the challenge to be declared the night’s beer pong champions. With lights and music on hype, the game begins with a pair-up settled by a beer chug competition allowing top 2 finishers of 4 contending teams per set to choose their opponents.
The crowd cheered on as their bets took turns tossing a ping-pong ball into opponent’s cups. The objective of the game was to make the most number of shots into the opponent’s cups in the least amount of time. Two rounds were played and the winners in each round battled it out in the finals.
The final round saw Channelfix.com and Cebu Daily News head-to-head in fun, friendly competition. In under ten minutes in the final round, Channelfix.com’s Graham Cvinar and Prem Ananda emerged as winners, taking home dining and overnight gift certificates from Cebu Marriott. All players from the preliminary matches to the final round also went home with dining gift certificates.
Game Nights at the Pool Bar is open to the public every Fridays and Saturdays.
The Happy Hour from 8 pm till midnight offers “two for the price of one” on all local beers and cocktails.
