• Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Marco Polo

      This month, Marco Polo Plaza Cebu takes its guests on a culinary journey to Ireland. The hotel celebrates the St. Patrick’s Day Festival with the Irish community.

      St. Patrick’s Day is also known as the Feast of Saint Patrick. It is on the 17th of March every year. The festival began on the 14th of March. It ends on the 18th of March. It is a cultural and religious event that celebrates the death of Saint Patrick the patron saint of Ireland. It commemorates the arrival of Christianity in Ireland, this is a feast of the color green and four-leaf clovers. The festival is brought to life with parades, music, and dancing. There is also a variety of special foods and a lot of drinking.

      Marco Polo Plaza Cebu’s latest culinary journey features traditional Irish dishes and treats. For starters, guests can enjoy Potato Nachos, Popeyed Devils Egg, Cheese Balls with Parsley and Chives or Irish Pub Salad. There is also Irish-Stuffed Cabbage Wrap, Irish Stew, and Beer Mac N’ Cheese. For mains, there is Cheesy Reuben Loaf and Guinness Beef Stew Pot Pie. For dessert, there is Whisky Cake, Green Velvet Cupcakes, and Butter Russet with Almond Biscuits. All these dishes and treats on top of Café Marco’s international lunch and dinner buffet. Guinness Beer is also available throughout the St. Patrick’s Day Festival. This is so guests can complete their experience in true Irish fashion.
