CCCI elects a new set of Trustees for 2023

The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) officially named the new set of Board of Trustees (BOT) elected through its 3rd virtual BOT Elections, in partnership with PWC Isla Lipana & Co., during its General Membership Meeting last February 23, 2023, at Mediterranean Hall, Waterfront Hotel and Casino, Cebu City.


Encompassing various sectors of Cebu’s business community, this year’s BOT elections presented ten vacant seats, which 17 candidates vied for.

The new trustees for the industry sector are Cebu Steel Corporation Assistant to the President, Charles Kenneth Co; International Pharmaceuticals Inc (IPI) Cebu Vice-President for Business Development, Stanley Uang; and Primehomes Development Corporation President, Benedict Que.

Elected for the trade sector are B. Benedicto & Sons Co. Inc Vice-President for External, Bernard Chioson; Greenworld LED Solutions Inc President & Managing Director, Francis Dy; and 6R Mercantile Inc Chief Operating Officer, Regan Rex King.

For the service sector, the new trustees are P&A Grant Thornton (Punongbayan & Araullo) Partner & Head of Cebu Branch, Wendell Gahinhin; Able Services President & CEO, Edwin Vincent Ortiz; and Bai Global Properties Group, LLC Inc (Bai Hotel Cebu)Vice-President for Operations and General Manager, Alfred Reyes.

The sectoral association newly elected trustee is the Alumni Association of the Asian Institute of Management-Cebu Chapter (AAAIM-CEBU) Immediate Past President Virgilio “Nonoy’ Espeleta.
