• Bo's Coffee launches tribute store

Bo’s Coffee’s humble beginnings were in Cebu. Today, the coffee chain has 103 stores nationwide, and 108 by year end. To pay homage to its roots, the brand launched its first tribute store last December 7.

Steve Benitez founder of Cebu’s homegrown brew and coffee chain, prides the brand on creating a perfect blend that is an overall representation of Philippine culture. Through the years, they recognize the local community who helped its growth for 23 years.

The brand empowers local businesses and farmers. They serve fresh coffee made with handpicked Arabica and Robusta coffee beans. Their Arabica beans are from different parts of the Philippines like Sagada, Mount Kitanglad, and South Cotabato. Their Robusta beans are from Cavite and other coffee highlands and regions in the country. They also support local micro-small entrepreneurs. Among these are Bayani Brew, Theo and Philo, Tablea, and Hope in a Bottle.

Local and international expansion is an objective. Bo’s Coffee aims to be present in five countries and to have 200 stores by 2020. Their first tribute store is a recognition of Philippine coffee. With the tribute store is the promise of an enhanced coffee experience. Customers can expect more specialty coffee at the store’s experience bar. This is a communal space that celebrates the Philippine Coffee Origins.

The tribute store also celebrates the best of the Philippines. The interiors of the store are taken from the designs of Bo’s Coffee archive collection. There is a wicker table from their first store. There are also pieces of furniture from local artisans like the renowned industrial designer, Kenneth Cobonpue.

The Bo’s Coffee tribute store is at Capitol Site, Osmeña Boulevard. It is open from 7 AM through 1 AM daily. For updates, like their Facebook page or follow them on Instagram and Twitter @boscoffee
