      Metrobank's Unit Investment Trust Funds (UITFs), recognized as some of the best-managed funds in the country at the 2025 CFA Society Philippines Awards.

      The Trust Banking Group at Metrobank received awards for their outstanding performance in managing peso and dollar-denominated UITFs during the CFA Philippines' 10th Annual Best Managed Funds of the Year Awards. This event celebrates the top fund managers in the Philippines for their ability to achieve the best returns, adjusted for risk, from 2020 to 2024.

      Metrobank was honored for several of its UITFs this year:
      - The Metro High Dividend Yield Unit Paying Fund falls under Equity Funds.
      - The Metro$ US Investment Grade Corporate Bond Feeder Fund is recognized in the Global Fixed Income Feeder Fund category.
      - The Metro$ Short Term Bond Fund was awarded in the Intermediate-term Bond Funds category.


      Angelica Reyes, head of Metrobank's Trust Banking Group, expressed pride in the recognition, highlighting the bank's commitment to providing exceptional service to clients. Cristina Gabaldon, head of Investment Management at Metrobank, thanked CFA Philippines for acknowledging their hard work and emphasized their dedication to continuously improving their management strategies.

      This year's awards featured 16 investment houses and trust institutions, with 170 funds competing across different categories. The winners were determined by carefully reviewing investment data from participating institutions.
