• The Wake at Mactan Island Memorial Garden

A sizable group of participants on Sunday afternoon, June 22, welcomed the grand launch of The Wake at Mactan Island Memorial Garden. The launching of the newest building, The Wake, promises reverence and expands its facilities to serve the community better.

The Honorable Milagros Baguio Amores, a respected community leader of Marigondon, graced the event and expressed gratitude to MSY Holdings Corporation for their unwavering commitment to serving and understanding the community.

“As the mother of Marigondon, I am delighted that Mactan Island Memorial Garden established a new wake area. This tranquil space is meticulously designed to provide comfort and support in our area during moments of reflection and remembrance,” Amores said.

The grand opening signifies progress and dedication to quality, persistence in innovation, and surpassing MYS Holdings Corp. standards. Sales agents were also present at the event, showcasing the new building and a 2.5-hectare land expansion, inspiring others to boost sales further.

The CEO of MSY Holdings Corporation, Martin Philip Yeung, delivered a heartfelt message to the public, taking a moment to reflect on the significant meaning of the MSY world.

He emphasizes that The Wake is a comprehensive funeral home, a sanctuary where the departed are honored and cherished. The significant meaning behind this act of remembrance is to emphasize that every individual who passes through this world leaves an indelible mark, forever etched in the memories of those they touched.

“The Wake is the comprehensive funeral home where we honor the fallen. What does it mean? Everyone who passes through this world is always remembered,” said Yeung.

The establishment of The Wake was driven by a commitment to honoring the deceased and giving back to the community.

The Wake, a funeral home, prioritizes community service and altruism, striving to promote inclusivity at Mactan Island Memorial Garden.

He also emphasized that the primary focus is not on financial gain or selfish motives but on compassion and generosity. MSY Holdings Corporation is committed to fostering positivity and enhancing the community's well-being.

Right after the event, an outdoor ribbon-cutting ceremony officially opened The Wake to the public, receiving a warm and enthusiastic welcome from the attendees.

The Wake comprises two buildings: Wake 1 offers mid- to high-cost options ranging from P10,000 to P20,000, featuring spacious rooms and modern design. Rooms 1 and 2 are collapsible to optimize space and include a private bathroom for guest comfort.

On the other hand, Wake 2 provides a more affordable option with a shared comfort room priced at P5,000 per night.
