Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino introduces its general manager - Anders Hallden.
Hallden is not new to Cebu since he was also Waterfront Cebu’s executive chef in 2006. He stayed on top of the kitchen operations for a time until he moved to his next assignment. After over a year he moved to Crowne Plaza Sun Palace Hotel in Beijing, China to oversee the hotel before the 2008 Olympics.
Hallden started out his career as chef de partie at a restaurant in Sweden. His experiences include being Sous Chef of Hotel Metropole in Riga, Latvia. He was also Head Chef for Schillertroms Restaurant in London. And he was consulting executive chef in Zivja Seafood Restaurant in Latvia.
Before returning back to Cebu, Hallden was the executive chef of Crown Plaza Hotel Fudan in Shanghai, China.
The man may have been overseeing the kitchen operations but he also has experience in running the corporate side of the hotel. He has over 20 years of experience in hospitality industry.
As he leads the hotel and stirs ahead of the competition, he imparts knowledge to the hotel staff and always stays on top of his game. His happy disposition and positive outlook are a refreshing change to the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino.
