Hi mga tech-ie, pa advice tako, sa manga naka try na ug online purchased sa amazon, or sa uban. onsay pros and cons if ordering like a ram, SSD, or other components on line.? dili kaha matangong sa customs? or dako ang taxes? my reason buying is wala man gud diri baligya sa ang akong needs... salamat daan hope some advices. I once bought an item overseas/online way years before..., item value was not more than 5k, with all the shipping/tax/customs BS/usd-to-php conversion/and a lot of other BS..., total thing I spent was around 11k!

so..., with that... here are some to name a few...

pro's:
-you'll get the item you like
-bragging rights!?

con's:
-item might be UNSEALED (due to customs) and might get a void on warranty
-ultra expensive
-warranty (slow and expensive)
-chance for D.O.A. (dead on arrival)

Online shopper ko, not just to amazon and I will have to agree with this. Ang cons, na experience na nako tanan. And trust me, it's not worth the hassle.

I bought from eBay (RAM Sticks) with warranty. 6 months later, nag sige nag beep ako PC which was caused by deffective ram sticks. Had to wait for 2 months to get a replacement from the states. Worse, I had to pay for shipping, taxes and customs.

suki ko sa amazon using johnny air sauna.. karon ni sulod na ang LBC. bag o r sad ko ka purchase using LBC, mas nice kay hatod gyud door to door. si Johnny air adtuon pa nimo sa SM ..

naka buy ko items like power supply, videocards rams etc wala pkoy na encounter problem so far. sealed mn sd ang items ig abot sa akoa. I think di n na mo agi ug standard customs procedure kay ang LBC ray ni take care ana as a courier not sure though.

ako experience sa ebay is... way ayo, fake ako nakuha sauna. sony memory stick para sa psp, pag tan aw nako walay digital marks like firmware number, manufaturer, dates etc.. usa ra ka semana di na ma basa. wa nko mi usab ebay. amazon rko, frys,newegg ...

Naka try na ko buy keyboard from Amazon through Johnny Air. So far so good ang ila service. Respond dayun sila sa ako emails pero nadugay lang abot ang package kay mid december na nila nadawat ang package. Unopened ang box since dili man mu agi sa customs ang mga iship sa ilaha.

Planning to buy again soon. Maybe suwayan ni nako ang LBC para di na ko mu adto SM.
