Just a few updates.
+ Corsair Carbide 600C
+ Replaced 2x 970s with 1 1080
+ Replaced Antec 850w (over 6 years old) power supply with eVGA 750 P2
+ Added Corsair H110i AiO water cooling to replace another Corsair AiO 120mm ... forgot the model
+ Added fans to fill the case, 5 total
What didn't change:
- Intel 6700k
- 32GB g.Skill V DDR4
- Asus Maximus Ranger VIII motherboard
Interesting fact, the Dell rack mount server that I am working on for work in the background of one of the pictures is almost worth $30,000 more than my system.Last edited by vern; 02-02-2017 at 02:50 PM.

My motherboard does support m.2 and nvme. But I don't need it, I already have a 10g sfp+ to my 10g switch and then to my file server. There is absolutely no reason for my work case to have nvme when I don't really store files locally. I have 2 SSDs in RAID 0 and 2 3TB HHDs in RAID 0 as well.
