Did somebody blown a PC by not using an AVR or UPS?

I plug directly to the outlet, without any protection.
I get no problems

I also use an LCD panel

i retired my avr long time ago , if theres no low voltage in your area you dont need an avr

as long as your voltage is contant enough then there's no need. but if your area is prone to voltage spikes then you need an AVR, UPS or Surge protection device.

generally ...ok ra na..specially in residecial areas. and not in industrial areas such as bangkal.gun-ob..in lapu-lapu city..

not in ur opis..were daghan ang paossibility naay magwelding..

inig fluctuacte sa power..timing nagsave (apps like photoshop and likes.. )

guba ra ang harddisk ana..if ur lucky apil ang videocard ug mobo..

so in short..k ra.. but..mas mau ug naa avr with ups ..not or.

Mas maayo na-a jud kay AVR or any surge protection devices kay dili man gud nimo matag-an nus-a mag low-voltag or mag-flactuate ang power. Mas nindot jud kung na-a kay UPS, mas safe jud ang imong computer...

so if naay gawelding sa silingan... dili ra PC ang at risk... mgbutang kog AVR ig naay mangwelding

ipirmaninti na lang na imo AVR kung naa ka. kay kung dili ka makabantay nga naay nagwielding. goodbye pc jud. and besides bisan pa residential area kung magfluctuate linya sa veco kuyaw jud dili ra ba mananghid. maspaspas pa ng fluctuation sa 8ms response sa LCD.

mao ba ma daut diay na kung naay mag welding.. swertiha nako oi nag welding sa gate namo mga 2 days ago unya ako nag online ko.. guba unta to desktop nako.. salamat wla...

suicide ni imo bai..
wala man gud ta kabalo kung when mo fluctuate ang kuryente
samot na mo low voltage..

para lang jud safe...taod lang og avr or ups...:mrgreen:
