Default DIY Laptop Battery Pack - Is it safe?

DIY Laptop Battery Pack - Is safe?, i was thinking of making a external laptop battery pack that instead of being connected thru its normal battery connection it will connected thru its standard power connection of the laptop, is it safe?, it really sucks when the battery of your laptop cost almost a new laptop.... well my battery pack is still ok it's just that it doesn't have enough juice...

    Here's my spec:
Asus Eee Pc 1005HAB (I know it's a netbook and not a laptop) it runs on 3 cell battery which runs for 3 hours only (i timed it once to test how long the laptop runs on regular use)... i would love get the 6 cell, if its available and cheap....

so dapat jud diay kung unsa output sa iyang adaptor mao pud ang output niya.... so it woul require to regulate current and the voltage, right?

Right, same idea rapud na sa PSP Emergency Battery Charger, that can be used also as Power Supply. Saksak ra gihapon nimo murag adapter.

@SmaRkieS pero if ma tandog ug if madugay ang connectors dili na advisable kay mag putol2x na ang corente i think lang ha on the long run. maliban nalang cguro sa katong mga goldcoated or silvercoated na mga connectors para mo minimise sa problem.

@TS yes it is safe as long as you have the skills and tools you need some rechargeable batteries and compute the input voltage sa imong laptop then also consider the tolerance if it is stated in your laptop.
dipende sad kung unsa na mga batteries imo i butang na maka himo ka ug combination na same ato ug output dont design something exceeding the voltage or if mas gamay kay that would fry your system on the long run. ok ra AMP ratings dagko basta dili lang ang voltage.
