    nEo Dark, 2800+ ra stable imong 2600+?

    Would have been better 2400+ nalang imong gi palit - mas barato pa!
    mine runs stable @ 2800+ (333 FSB) and can OC to 2375MHz

    i can easily reach that sa ako P4 2.4 (533)

    i havent tried to OC my 2.0 though

    ayaw pag-agad sa VCore sa lain... test it for your own, you might have different batch sa processor.

    dira ra tested kutob, kay yabag ma2 ang epox na mobo akong na kuha. mo bios check sum error when multi is set higher than 15x. nag test ko sa usa ka frnd nako na mobo maka abot manko ug 166x16 2.6Ghz sa iyang volc 7+ taas lang kaayo ug temps around 59-62 give or take wla pa nako ma use ang pal alpha. still waiting for me epox from crashburn

    the epox ep 8k9a2+ supports raid..... but how come u got only 1 hdd drive? bought the mobo for its oc features primarily i guess.....

    partly yes,pr0 my frnd offerd it to me coz his dad bought him a nForce2 mobo since dli nya gamit i traded my 8k5a for this board and added a little cash value coz he needed a mobo for another computer and the 8k5a would fit in the case. ang 8k9a2+ would not. so we made a swap and...

    most (locked) athlon xp are overclocked by increasing the fsb (front side bus) from the default 133 up to a high of 150 or even more. this should be done by small increments only and by incresing the cpu vcore voltage. the above is the easiest way to oc an athlon xp. athlon xps are multiplier locked but it is very hard to find unlocked athlon on the market. some asus motherboard features multiplier selector which means that it can onlock an athlon xp.
    of the two type of overclocking, increasing the multiplier is better than increasing the fsb coz increasing the fsb will affect the pci cards intalled in the mobo and sometime the ram chip installed.
    the main purpose of most overclocker is to get more for what you pay for. buying a 2ghz cpu overclocked to 2.4ghz or even just 2.2ghz is much more cheaper than buying a 2.4ghz rated cpu...
