reviews:
"The Ray Ban RB3025 Large Metal Aviator has long been a celeb favorite, popping up in movies, television, and in casual wear. The style works well with both men and women. In fact, more and more women can be seen wearing RB3025s, although its smaller sibling RB3044 is probably more suited to a woman's smaller face.
Ray Ban sunglasses are made with care and RB3025 aviators will not disappoint. They are very durable and will last you a long time. However, the temples do look a bit flimsy and the screws will need some occasional tightening. If not, your sunglasses will become loose within a couple of months of extended use.
That said, RB3025s are not for sporting use. We may all remember Tom Cruise playing beach volleyball with them in Top Gun, but that was clearly more for show. These sunglasses don't wrap around and will slide a lot (or even fall off) during vigorous activity with a lot of jerking.
Ray Ban has designed the RB3025 to appeal to a wide range of people. As a result, there are many colours available, including several colour styles that come in a G15 XLT lens. Unfortunately, Ray Ban doesn't make the RB3025 in a polarized lens. However, the G15 XLT will dampen contrast ratios in very sunny conditions to reduce glare, which makes it a cheaper alternative to sunglasses with polarized lenses. It won't have the same effectiveness as a polarized lens, but it'll be better than regular lenses.
Overall, Ray Ban RB3025 Large Metal Aviator sunglasses will remain the iconic aviator design. You can't go wrong with the quality and the timelessness of the design. If you want sunglasses that will look as good in 20 years as the day you got them, you'll be very pleased with these.
We would recommend them for every day wear, and try to avoid sports that require a lot of running and jumping, like basketball, volleyball or tennis. Sports like golf or non-extreme inline skating that keep jerking movements to a minimum are fine."
